Some of my favorite still from the storyboard I did the second half of this semester.
I’m not quite done with this project yet! Besides the storyboard, I’m working on an animatic and short animation that all revolve around this story. So some time over the next week or two those two projects will be wrapped up- THEN i’ll be done posting about these guys!
Also, I saved this as a draft and so it won’t let me change the blog it gets posted to….? I’m just going to end up reblogging it I guess. And if you follow me and didn’t know- I’ve got a sketch blog for all my art over at sketchylizstifel.tumblr.com
Tonight I threw caution into the wind and decided not to do homework…. I needed to unwind a bit so I spent the night drawing some gestures from this wonderful Bodies in Motion site. Drawing people doing flips makes one feel extraordinarily unfit for being a human being.
Well, it’s off to bed soon and then life returns to finals month. *sigh*
Back from the days I was working on stuff for picturethisbook. I’ve been going through some older files and decided to post a few things.
I did this around christmas time, if I remember right. This was from ch 19, if my records are right.
"Beyond the aqueduct, streets wound chaotically from an unevenly paved square, complete with an eccentrically spouting fountain- the water jetted from the ears of a statue, a statue of an impressively crowned man. 'King Anstyr the the Third,' said Touchstone, pointing at the fountain. 'He had a strange sense of humor, by all accounts. I'm glad it's still there.'”
“Noonday sunshine could be seen on the other side of the Wall in Ancelstierre, and not a cloud in sight. Here, there was a clouded sunset, and a steady rain had just begun to fall, coming faster than the tents could be raised. …The midwife sighed and slowly straightened up, that single movement telling the watchers everything they needed to know.” - Sabriel by Garth Nix
Any feedback about why this image isn’t working for me would be helpful. I had to restart this thing about 3 times because my computers been acting up more and more lately.
