My name is Liz, I'm an art student and this is my blog for... things. Photos or drawings I find beautiful, art that piques my interest and a splash of stupid shit for my nerd self. Tonight I threw caution into the wind and decided not to do homework…. I needed to unwind a bit so I spent the night drawing some gestures from this wonderful Bodies in Motion site. Drawing people doing flips makes one feel extraordinarily unfit for being a human being.
Well, it’s off to bed soon and then life returns to finals month. *sigh*

Sketch stage for a project I did this week- illustrated a duo for my Methods in Media class.
My professor? (not really sure what every one here is…) recommended I try working on a 3-D surface- so I did. Pictures of that to come~
My professor was late to class today and I ended up drawing this. I thought a robot with a hand that’s a cat could run into various zany situations throughout it’s lifetime.
Heeeyyy, just a reminder that this exists.

I need to start reading the Illiad again, I never finished it. I remember a section of the book seemed to be Zeus telling Hera and Athena to calm their tits. He threatened to beat them (or any of the gods, really) if they crossed him and got involved in the fighting between the Trojans and Ageans one day. He had his own meddling to do- Hera and Athena weren’t too happy about that, but they did what they were told.
